The BC pedestal adopts a new method of spacer tabs to separate pavers, inspiring creative architecture with unlimited possibilities.

DPH PEDESTAL SYSTEM

C2 COUPLER AND C5 COUPLER
The coupler is used when the height of the pedestal exceeds 175mm (DPH 6 and upwards):

Two integrated flanges on either side allow for mechanical fixing or cross-bracing, guaranteeing enhanced stability when the height exceeds 600mm. They are used for DPH 6-13 units.



SHIMS
The Shim is made in EPDM of 1 or 2mm reinforced (Shore 60). Placed on the Buzon pedestal it stabilises the paver, provides additional acoustic values, and because it can be split, it compensates for variations in paver thickness.

For use with marble, stone slabs, granite pavers, porcelain etc for:

  • added anti-slip performance
  • shock and sound absorption
  • compensation for stone thickness variation


JOIST CRADLE
Support for any kind of substructure:

  • timber batten (joists)
  • composite battens
  • aluminium or steel support sections

Width of the support: up to 63mm. Fixing holes on both sides of support for mechanical fixing. Black location rawl plug secures support to head support.


SPACER TAB

Spacer tabs are 3 mm thick x 17 mm high and are fixed by pressure on to the head of DPH pedestals. Spacer tabs regulate spacing between the pavers, ensure alignment and free water drainage. The format (3 mm x 17 mm), is more suited for the laying of thick ceramic pavers (minimum 20 mm).


PH5 SLOPE CORRECTOR
A slope corrector placed on top of the pedestal will compensate up to 5% in the substrate, and up to 10% by adding a BC slope corrector, which is placed on the base:


BC PEDESTAL SYSTEM

In addition to the above accessories the following are also available for the BC pedestal system:

  • C3/C4 COUPLER
    A C3 coupler is used to extend a pedestal from BC7-BC12. The C4 coupler allows easy and precise adjustment of the height of the pedestal under the tile.

  • BC-PH5 SLOPE CORRECTOR
    A slope corrector placed underneath the pedestal will compensate up to 5% in the substrate, and up to 8% by adding an additonal BC slope corrector.

  • BC SPACER TAB RECTANGULAR/CIRCULAR
    A rectangular or circular BC spacer tab – 2, 4.5, 6, 8 and 10mm (24mm high) or 3 & 4.5mm (17mm high).

  • ADJUSTABLE BC JOIST CRADLE
    An adjustable BC joist cradle with 2 or 4 guides dependent on the complexity of the joist configuration.


ALURAIL SYSTEM

The Buzon ALUrail system for outdoor raised floors allows for a simple and cost effective solution for all external terrace applications.
The system can be used for various substrates, 20mm porcelain, concrete and natural stone pavers.
Practical and functional, the ALUrail system can be used where
the void is limited. The system, including the Buzon Pedestal
range starts at 29mm.

The ALUrail comes in 2 heights; 18mm and 38mm, a width of 65mm, and lengths of 2400mm.

Either side of the ALUrail are 2 rubber pads for the paver to sit on, offering a noise dampening feature. In between the rubber pads is a continuous recessed gap for the 3mm spacer tab to lock into, providing drainage between pavers.

The ALUrail is powder coated in black, therefore not noticeable between the paving slabs. (Silver rails are noticeable). This, combined with the Buzon pedestals, rubber pads and spacer tab, will prove to be a ‘hidden’ system.

The ALUrail is an ideal addition where tight datums are required, cantilevering or spanning awkward areas or equipment (i.e. ducting, air conditioning trays and pipes, power ducting, cable trays etc).


ALUGRATE SYSTEM

The ALUgrate aluminium drainage system is discreetly fixed to the timber or ALUrail joist using a hidden clip system, or surface fixed between the vanes.

Designed to mirror a DURADECK deckboard (hardwood or composite) and the Alfresco Floors range of 20mm external grade porcelain paving.

The purpose of grating requirements is to remove splash-back issues from water hitting the decking or paving, and in turn onto the doors or facade. The special geometry of the ALUgrate allows it to ‘trap’ rainwater, which then falls directly onto the WPM or insulation layer.

The length of the ALUgrate is 4000mm, offering a seamless installation, whereas traditional grating is typically 1200mm.
