Goldman Sachs new £1 billion, European headquarters in Plumtree Court, London is a state-of-the-art 10-storey building with super-modern amenities and sustainable features. At over one million square feet, the office space is bigger than 24 football pitches and houses the largest trading floor in London.
Buzon were specified to supply and install PB adjustable pedestals on the Executive terraces. The enlarged head of the PB Pedestal range makes it the perfect product to support the thick granite pavers used on the terraces. The pavers were used in a variety of sizes to create a piano-key design which alternated in colour for the clear definition of the pattern.
Before the pavers were installed, the team were required to pull up and clean the existing insulation in order to improve its stability and ensure the integrity of the waterproof membrane.
