Project Description

Architect Kengo Kuma’s reinvention of an ancient Tokyo temple incorporates the new temple with a 15 storey office block and apartments. The Buzon DPH® pedestal system has been used to support stone tiles creating a dual-purpose terrace.

By day the terrace seems like any other, however at night the void beneath the tiles fills with water to create a stunning ‘lake’ water feature.

Testimonials

Buzon UK has been a key partner to Domus for many years. Mike and his team have always been very supportive, offering us the most modern and technically proficient pedestal systems available. Their expertise in sub-floor systems and installation allows us to support our Architectural and Contractor partners to the very best of our ability.

Anthony Wrinch, Sales Director
Domus

I have known Mike personally and his professional team of installers at Buzon UK for over 12 years.  They make light work of problems and are a solution driven firm who I trust implicitly to deliver the quality my clients expect.  I would recommend Mike and his team at Buzon UK, as I regularly do, in a heartbeat.

Scott Faulks, Managing Director
Arena Stone and Ceramics Ltd

Mike and the team from Buzon UK are highly professional, creative and knowledgeable. After discussing the requirements of our brief, they helped us detail and present a robust paving solution for a high-end public realm landscape installation, using outdoor ceramic tiles with a support system of ALUrail and Buzon pedestals.  Buzon's system is, in my opinion, one of the most impressive on the market.
